Pasta with cherry tomatoes is simple, healthy and quick to make. This kind of pasta can have many variations, this is just one possibility.

Ingredients of pasta with cherry tomatoes

Cherry tomatoes garlic and chili
  • cherry tomatoes
  • garlic
  • chili
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pasta (I used pennette)

Receipe of pasta with cherry tomatoes

Cherry tomatoes in slices Cut in small pieces garlic and chili. Wash the cherry tomatoes and then cut them in half.
Stir-fried cherry tomatoes Stir-fry on a low flame garlic and chili. Don’t let the garlic burn! Add the tomatoes and a pinch of salt, Cover the pan and let it cook still on a low fire. The tomatoes will produce some water, so the dish is not “fried”. Check the tomatoes sometimes to make sure the tomatoes juice will not get dry, add some little water if necessary
Italian pasta with cherry tomatoes, a detail Boil pasta on a saucepan, the correct cooking time is usually indicated on pasta’s packet and it’s not the same for all kind of pasta. Pasta must be added to boiling water and not before the water is already boiling.

First of all thanks to those who subscribed the “launcher” mailing list: I have reached almost 200 subscribers which I believe is more then worth to make an effort and keep working on cusineitalia.com, real italian cuisine by a real italian.

My apologies for such a long “silence”, I received some complaint because I haven’t been working at this project since July 2007.

And finally some good news! cuisineitalia.com real italian cuisine by a real italian is back! I have published 2 new pages: Gorgonzola and Sicilian Cuisine.

For the moment I will keep on working on the “static” part of the site which includes italian cuisine tools, italian cuisine ingredients, italian regional cuisine. Even if there are not yet recipes for each new article there are good tips for preparing delicius italian dishes.

I know you all are interested in real italian cuisine recipes, for this reason I will close this post with a promise: I’ll soon go back to Italy for a month, once there I will start the recipes section with tens of recipes and pictures.
